Zoot’s Video Commentary
I’m going to show you some videos and let you know why I’m totally obsessing over them. First off? Tomorrow’s Glee mash-up video that shows my favorite: Santana, singing some Adele with Mercedes. What makes this video even more powerful is knowing a bit of Santana’s story from the episode. If it goes like the rumors say, it will be pretty powerful and makes her performance even that much more awesome. Second – The Hunger Games trailer. I wasn’t... Read More
The Run Down
My biggest hurdle planning for my half-marathon has been pacing. I don’t have a Garmin for pacing so I tend to just run with specific people or coaches. I often found myself gravitating towards a faster group on the shorter mid-week runs. As we got closer to the race, I planned on running with the group that I did my long runs with. When I say, “Anyone want to help me cook?” they fight over the taller stool and grab their aprons. Letting them in the kitchen makes cooking just as fun for me as it does for them. But there’s only so much you can do to make cooking oatmeal fun. Read the full article here Read More
Oh, How We All Love Age Three!
We’ve all commiserated before about how the “Terrible Twos” seem to be an illusion compared to the “Want To Punch Myself In the Face Threes.” Nikki’s age 2 was a baby penguin compared to her at age 3. Wes seems to be following the same pattern lately. His variation of this wonderful phase is to suddenly start doing things he KNOWS are wrong. Like playing with rolls of toilet paper creating the world’s softest disaster zone. OR CLIMBING... Read More
